there have been a lot of theories about the end of the world like ;
the maya civiliasation calender ends with 2012
the sun lifetime theory
with such theories and predictions that might come true i guess internet is the least thing to worry about....our very existence might end!
i agree. the end of the internet by 2012 will be foreshadowed with the end of the world predictions. as always, we worry more about our personal safety and would be willing to give up a lot if only to survive.
so why worry when internet will end?
People will definitely disallow this to happen....seeing the videos were posted two years ago and I hope someone could update us the status of this rumor now. I've tried back reading and all I see is the people are now talking about the end of the world and bees, which is also actually related to the end of the world, rather than the supposedly end of the internet in 2012.
It's 2010 right now and I've never heard of any peculiar movement from the US government and major internet providers or is it just something I'm really not aware of. This is the first time I've heard of this and to be honest I only watched one of the videos posted. The video which was posted two years ago in youtube. The video with the article in bullet form regarding the article posted in the Time Magazine.
If they would kill the internet at any moment then I would have to say that they shouldn't have made the internet public in the first place.

From me the same but it was no bad post. In my opinion the internet and also the world will stay at minimum for more 1000 years. Because experts you told already that all will end in 2010 wasn't right. Also the maya calendar will be wrong because the world will still exist but with other people.

The internet ending that's like getting rid of emails. Better choose i touch phones we all know that not happening. Otherwise why would technology keep on growing and growing and going fancier every time. I would not be able to live with out internet. I mean common especially now since I did online dating and eventually it worked out.

This not fair I already pay to much for internet as it is to lose the internet. Anyway all my friends are on line is how i stay in contact with all them. just have a faith in god, whatever is gonna happen will surely ,then why should we get worried about that.

not only is the internet supposed to end but so is the whole of life as we know it but unfortunately no one knows what is actually meant by this and weather they mean that we will all change drastically in the way we live or we will all die, i hope the internet doesnt end but it will be a small fish in a big pond if everything ends
